So tonight hasn't been good for me as far as eating goes. I eat out way too often when my husband is out of town. Tonight we went to Quaker Steak & Lube and I had the pulled pork sandwich and fries. Not good. Now don't get me wrong...it tasted delicious! Heavenly in fact...with melted cheese over top. Delish! However, you know that the food is NOT healthy when there are no nutritional facts in the restaurant or on their website even. Hopefully I haven't done too much damage, but honestly what can I really do to harm things that haven't really even started. I will say that for the past 2 weeks I've been working out 3 times a week. I usually do about 20 minutes of weights (5 lbs) and then another 30 minutes of cardio which is usually walking. It's not a whole lot, but it's a start. Now I just need to watch what I eat. Sometimes I get into the mind frame of "Oh, well, I did work out today, so I can afford this." That would be true if I was trying to maintain my weight, but I am not. I want to lose almost 40 lbs!! If I surpassed 40 lbs, I would be in Heaven! Let's hope & pray that I can get my rear in gear!
